The People
Emma Marshall – Proprietor
Emma founded the firm after qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG in Manchester and then completing a Masters Degree in Business Administration at Manchester Business School. She has since been admitted to Fellowship of the Institute and continues to develop the practice and meet regularly with her clients as well as dealing with HMRC enquiry work and specific forensic accounting projects.
Kym Perry – Practice Manager
Kym joined the firm in August 2003, and now looks after all aspects of Practice Management , Health & Safety, HR and all client related issues.
Julie Harvey – Reception , VAT, Payroll, Company Secretarial
Julie joined the firm in October 1998 and is the first person you will meet as she covers our reception. Julie also deals with client payments and any day to day enquiries that arise, either as clients call into the office or by phone. Julie is also responsible for all dealings with Companies House and liaises with clients to set up limited companies on their behalf and to ensure that all documentation is filed promptly and correctly.
Claire Wakefield – Accounts, Audit, Corporation Tax
Claire joined the firm in March 2003 and is a qualified Accounting Technician. Claire is one of our accounts managers with particular responsibility for her own portfolio of corporate clients. She also oversees the onsite bookkeeping and VAT function for some of our larger clients, for whom we effectively act as an outsourced accounting department.
Louise Dunkley – Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT
Louise joined the firm in 1999. Louise assists in the preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and also completes the bookkeeping and VAT work for some clients. She is also responsible for ensuring that clients bring in their books and records in a timely manner so that deadlines can be met and a constant work flow maintained.
Tom Shaw– Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT
Tom joined the firm in September 2009 and is currently studying for the Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification. Tom assists in the preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and also completes the bookkeeping and VAT work for some clients. He is also responsible for ensuring that clients bring in their books and records in a timely manner so that deadlines can be met and a constant work flow maintained.
Lee Massey– Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT
Lee joined the firm in August 2010 and is currently studying for the Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification. Lee assists in the preparation of accounts for sole traders and partnerships and also completes the bookkeeping and VAT work for some clients. He is also responsible for ensuring that clients bring in their books and records in a timely manner so that deadlines can be met and a constant work flow maintained.
